Job Description: Sole Chef for Private 46m Adventure Motor Yacht
We are seeking a Sole Chef to join our fully private, 46m adventure motor yacht for a 12-month contract (non-rotation).

Our current Chef is moving on after fulfilling the contract, leaving with a stellar reference. The position starts on September 1, reflecting our yacht's meticulous planning.

About Us
Our small crew of eight is a vibrant mix of ages and backgrounds, united by professionalism and a love for adventure.

This is a non-smoking, non-vaping program with strict adherence to reference checks, including those related to alcohol.

Expectations
We maintain a "tight ship" with high standards:

Beds made
Ensign up at 8 AM
Shirts tucked in
Clean, professional, and well-groomed crew
We're not a party group, and we value early lights out to prepare for the next day's hard work. Image is important, and we prefer a polished, professional appearance.

Life Onboard
Operations are fun and well-managed, allowing time for the crew to enjoy yachting activities:

BBQ and grilling on the sundeck
Snorkeling, swimming, and adventure cruises
While you'll spend significant time in the Galley, you'll also get to experience the adventure of yachting. The boss supports crew enjoyment, ensuring you get to experience almost every destination firsthand.

Compensation and Challenges
We offer competitive pay, reflecting our high expectations and the challenging aspects of the job. The Galley, located main deck forward, offers the best view on the yacht, with large windows and ample counter space. It is open to the crew mess, separated by a large island counter.

The Chef shares a cabin with the Mate, who is very clean and tidy. All crew members share cabins, ensuring equal treatment.

Culinary Responsibilities
You'll primarily cook for the crew, who are experienced in yachting and appreciative of fine cuisine. The boss, however, prefers a less adventurous menu, with specific preferences and repeated meals like Moroccan night and Shakshuka breakfast.

Provisioning and Equipment
Chef is responsible for provisioning, using a credit card for purchases and maintaining records. The Galley is well-equipped with top-notch appliances and ample counter space.

Additional Duties
The Chef will also participate in dockside watch rotation, including evening logs and weekend lighting duties.

Itinerary
Our planned itinerary includes winter in the Bahamas/Caribbean, an early crossing to the Mediterranean and Adriatic (Greece this year), followed by the UK and possibly Holland. We often venture off the beaten path, avoiding typical yachting hotspots.
